How is the party going???
Apryl and I really wish we were there. But Apryl only gets one weekend off per month, and this wasn't it.
I was actually going to try to come with Jack, but he said he was leaving Friday at 11am, and I couldn't get the time off work. Then I learned he was leaving today, but I had made a repair appointment for the 4Runner (water pump was leaking, and the timing belt needed changing) and it was too late to ask to come with him.
I'm also rather scared to go to Mexico, after reading how the locals treat you and the law enforcement enforces laws made up on the side of the road. I figured riding with Jack, someone who's done it many time, would put those thoughts to rest.
Ol well. Next time.
