Has anyone looked at this site? http://www.smts.info/
I have traveled a few miles of it and was wondering if anyone else had?
I had thought about maybe organizing a trip on it. I wondered if there was any interest?
Looks interesting, driving from the Mexican border to the Canadian border, much of it off road. It would be an adventure.
Any thoughts out there?

A friend and I were talking about something similar this winter, with the exception of going from LA/OC to Mammoth. I've down a lot of "segments" just not a single trip with them all linked up. There's even a few areas on that sight that can be bypassed with dirt roads. The instance I'm thinking of is 247 south of Barstow, there's a few routes through the Rodman mountains that are scenic and not very difficult.

I have ran most of it from the border up to central cal area...The only time I went on pavement was for fuel. The route trys to keep you on dirt, and it is mostly easy dirt roads. I did some with the wife on her 250.
