Many of you here probably already subscribe to the Panamint Breeze...but I thought I'd plug it for those of you who don't.

It's got some great writers -like Wild Bill, Robin Flinchum, Emmett Harder and myself It makes a great Christmas gift for your desert rat friends....and for those city folks who need to get an education in why we all love the desert so much. It's also a great place to submitt your own stories, tall, true and otherwise. So check it out if you haven't already. I was just lurking around this forum when I saw your post re: the breeze. I never heard of it. But, the little bit I have seen is very cool. I checked out each available page but didnt not see how many issues per annum the subscription provides. Just curious. I am extremely interested it subscribing for my son and myself. He is 12 and already hooked on camping and exlporing in a big way!

Flexible is the motto with the PB, kinda like the Stripped Butte bugle. It comes when it come, and you get as many as they send.

Fun and enjoyable is the bottom line. I enjoy each copy and need to re-contribute, thanks for the reminder Cecile.

BTW Cecile, you and Roger going to the Fall Haul? We have a Zzyzx class that same weekend, and you know how we like to learn. Just wish I could remember it. Ha Ha

The Panamint Breeze comes out quarterly.

Nope, Steve, not going to the Fall Haul. We'll be in Death Valley the weekend before Thanksgiving though with Roger's photojournalism class. We're basing out of Beatty.
