My buddy Jayson (Loosehead on Yotatech) and I built some rails over the weekend for inside my bed. I wanted something that I could use to better secure things in the bed. We built these out of 3/4 inch square tubing welded to 1/4 inch flat steel pieces. He did all the welding, but I tried and am learning.http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/ok-kewl.gif After all the welds were cleaned up I Duplicolored them. They are really sturdy, more than I thought they would be. Goodtimes had something similar on his ZR2 before he bought the Rubi. Thanks for the idea!http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/supercool.gif Can't see the pass side too well thanks to the sun.

Looks like a good sturdy cheap and effective solution to lack of tie-down points.

Kudos for making it yourself!

Cool. You can even build a sleeping bed on it and remove when not needed.
