I'd like to add an Aux. battery to my 2003 4X4 Tundra.

I was surprised to see how much room is under the hood in a Tundra.

Any suggestion for a kit?

I do not have any experience or knowledge of ready-made kits for the Tundra. However, I was able to get a 2nd battery to fit under the hood of my Tacoma, so I'll bet you have ample room.

You can see some details on my dual-batt. setup in this thread (http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/?f=12&m=2890), including some discussion on pros and cons of mounting in engine bay vs. remote location.

We had some discussions on batteries in this thread (http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/?f=12&p=1&m=246).

MrS on this forum, also has been running a dual setup for quite some time now. Maybe some others will chime in too.

If price is no object, you should have some great, fairly easy options available to you for a robust and reliable setup. If you are budget minded, you will probably find some good deals on stuff at eBay, but that takes time and patience.

Welcome to the forum! How do you like your Tundra?

Welcome!

A Tundra man finally.
This has been discussed here a bit. For a family 4WD it is probably nice.
Just wondering about your experience on the trails.
