Another great trip through a beautiful trail
http://www.expeditionswest.com/adventures/2004/martinez_02_04/

We had several Rovers (an old series IIa), Land Cruiser's a 4 Runner, and my Jeep. Several stopped at the cabin, and a few of us continued on. I am working my way back left on that last obstacle; I did the center V-notch line. Yellow Belly is next!

Awesome!!

Steve posted a link to this vid of his 4Runner doing Yellow Belly. THIS (http://www.roadrunner4wheelers.org/temp/Steve_crawls_up_in_his_4Runner.wmv) is exactly why I want a crawler. (right click and "save target as")

Baja, nice! I love seeing deep gearing in action. Many people think I am crazy for liking 3-digit gearing, but you just have so much control and finesse with it. I love it!

Steve's 4runner was totally awesome to watch his total effective low-range is 250:1!!! I could really notice the difference between 35' tires and 33' tires on that run. My Jeep was scraping on the rocks much more than the rest of them. I dont think the 4runner made any rock contact at all.
