Hmmm.... Some interesting ideas. The right electric motors should offer lots of torque (e.g. railroad locomotives) and would get rid of differentials and axles andassociated clearance issuesand all the stuffon the front endto get power to the wheels that seems to break.

I'm not so sure about the idea of an off-road race car that seems to be targeted to getting from point a to point b as fast as possible though. I prefer driving slow and seeing the country and wonder why peoplebother to go out if they just want to go fast so they see nothing but the road or trail in front of their nose. Maybe they'll stay home anddrive the video game version.

I prefer to mosey along the trail like you too, but going fast on a race course in a vehicle set up for itis an unforgettable experience.
