This is the trail we talked about running during Zafari north of Superior. I wanted to go camping and "hang out", and this is a great spot for both!

Trip report http://www.expeditionswest.com/adventures/2004/hackberry/index.html

I went on the trip with a friend of mine from South Africa.Everyone needs to meet this guy! He was a game warden in the South African Game Parks. Roof tents, Diesel Toyota Land Cruisers and true expedition travel was all in a days work...http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/yeah.gif After this trip he went out and bought an 04 Tacoma Double Cab TRD. http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/supercool.gif We are going to Gonzaga Bay in March to do some spear fishing which will be a good first trip for his new truck.

Here I am "hanging out"

The Jeep had some fun too

I hope these pictures load "ok". They are half the size of the previous posts.

looks like a fun trip.</div>
The climbs you did, what where they rated at? Did you top-rope or lead?</div>

Wall 1, Climb 1: Good 40' warm up climb (5.2)
Wall 1, Climb 2: 40' climb slight overhang/bulge mid climb gives it (~5.4)</div>
Wall 2, Climb 1: 50' crack climb requiring several foot and hand jams. Fewer good holds near top of climb. My hands were nice and bloody by the tophttp://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/devil.gif (~5.5)</div>
We were able to top rope all climbs. Wall 1 had bolt anchors, wall 2 required natural anchors. I am not a real accomplished climber hence the ~http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/headscratch.gif before my ratings...</div>

The photos looke great!
I know that wee know, but it is interesting how many places we can have fun and enjoy the nature. We need more time and $$ to explore.
