Many months ago I installed a low oil pressure buzzer. My stock oil light still works as stock. I don't have an oil pressure gauge. I like the buzzer and its been trouble free, it buzzs on start-up or after oil changes for a few seconds. Unlike a light, or a gauge I don't need to check anything while driving, the buzzer willlet me know.

I hope someone finds this useful.I don't remember if we cover this before, I did a search, but did not find this covered.

Very good idea MrS. That is a valuable mod! Did you document the modification? Was another sending unit required, or did you use the factory lead?

No I didn't document it. I did this at the same time as my temp gauges, and since so much is hidden, it hard to to show much. I guess I may do something, but I try not to over tax Baja with my write-ups.

I installed a 15psi switch (Stock taco is 5-6psi) in an extra port on the 3.4, ran a new wire, then installed a 12v buzzer from Radio shack, and tied it into a switched lead.

If you need more info, let me know

Another 007 mod that I would like to have. The list is getting looong...

Let's see...

Water dispenser, positive pressure camper, electric blanket, tailgate mod, security features, full-time power outlets (LOL - can't believe I still haven't done that one), cool ricky ricer gauge pod, and now an OIL BUZZER. Yea, there are probably some that I forgot...

Steve mentioned a focus meeting on the security mod. We would meet on a particular place and work on our trucks at the same time. Could become a oil buzzer too.
