The Baja night run was my first trip with these new lights and I loved them. They worked really nice. I currently have 3 lights on the roof rack, the center light is now a 6" KC Daylighter and the two outer lights are the LightForce. I previously had a smaller 5" light in the middle, and now that I have the heavier 6" KC there, I need to brace the mount because it vibrates too much. I braced the two outer mounts when I made them, and with the LightForce (lightweight) lights, there is virtually no vibration. Very nice!

Anyway, the 6" LightForce are running about $187 a pair, but there are some on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33709&item=2452875 003) right now for $149 if anyone has mod money burning a hole in their pocket. http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif These aren't on Ebay too often, FYI.

Vibration is a problem on my lights too.

Baja, do you have problems on glare on the hood from the roof rack lights?

No glare at all. The lights sit far back enough that the front edge of the roof blocks any light from hitting the hood or windshield.

Just look at your rack and draw an imaginary straight line from the location you want to put the lights to the front edge of your roof. Continue this line to the front of the vehicle and see if it clears the hood or not.

I see your point.
If one day I decide to move on this direction then I will do some more homework.
The large lights I have on my bumper are vibrating too much.

I'd like some lights, too. There is a review of Lightforce lighting here that might be of interest:
