View Full Version : Installed new skid plate
I installed my new Demello Trans & T-case skid plate last Monday night. It took about 2 hours. Everything lined-up and fitted perfect. I like this type skid plate, instead of the framerail-to-framerail type, this will give me the coverage I need without making access harder, or make squeaks and rattles like other type of cover can. I think Jason said he was posting a how-to on his web site. Not sure if he has pictures of the new skid plate, but I'm sure he will have, soon

Steve,
Where are YOUR pictures?
Will the skid plate fit the 4Runners 2.7?
Mine are starting to make some noise.

http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/hop.gif Can't wait to see these mods on a run Steve. I will probably have to http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/camera_flash.gif for you.
Boy, my new skid plate sure got another workout this weekend. Uwe can attest to that http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/lol.gif he was riding with me when we were climbing a dicey spot and I "fell" off of my line... WHAM! http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/shocked.gif

Baja,
I am sure you were happy having them on the Taco.
Did you check to see if it was damaged? Good test for the design.
