HEY! It's good to see everyone back on-line. I just wanted to drop a quick line to say hello from the road. We're in Tucson right now. Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do when we get back to the ranch tonight http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/wink.gif

The week has been very busy, but excellent - the Grand Canyon was spectacular with all of the daily monsoon clouds and storms floating around through the sky. Very dramatic scenes indeed. I decided I like the North Rim better than the South Rim.

I am lucky that I was able to finish the fridge mod to the point that it was ready for the trip. I just bought some oak colored carpet from a place on south 6th ave. in Tucson - so I still have to install that. Butthe fridgewas operational and really nice to have! Ihave the battery monitor mounted in the cab now too.

Well, I hope everyone has been having lots of fun http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/hop.gif

Talk to you soon...

It's good to see you back even if it is from the road. You'll probably are going to have to take a few days off to catch up.http://www.4wdtrips.net/forum/emoticons/smilewinkgrin.gif

Soon I can see with reliable Internet in the car. The problem is that it may keep connected to work. At the end, you defeat the purpose of the trip.

Heck, if I ever get internet in the Taco, it will be our little "secret". I'm sure it will happen one of these days - it will be just as common asemail and digital cameras.

There are many cities with the wireless Internet service. San Diego is one. But the coverage is not that good.
I can see the satellite technology kicking in to support this.
