Hey Uwe, how's it goin?? http://www.rxtx.com/4wdtrips/forum/emoticons/lol.gif I guess we got stuck at home, eh? I have been working my butt off - still working right now. Oh well, it all pays off http://www.rxtx.com/4wdtrips/forum/emoticons/smilewinkgrin.gif I got to go on a short hike Sunday morning, but that was it! I did find a cool old flat top Coors beer can that had a soldered seam, and no pop top - had to be opened with a church key. That's an oldie but a goodie (but rusty)! hehe
Dang - I need to go on an adventure!! WAHHHHH!!!! http://home.rochester.rr.com/abbysues/AbbySues1/originalimages/yuck.gif

Yeah, I am working too. Over the weekend the kitchen remodel took all our time again. Only outdoor activity was an hour long walk at the beach. Got to get that kitchen done so the outdoor stuff takes over the weekends again. Can't even get to the mountain bikes right now...
Are you saying the can was still full with ancient beer ? http://www.rxtx.com/4wdtrips/forum/emoticons/smilewinkgrin.gif
Hey, I found acient stuff too during the remodel: a wrench under the stove and 50 lb of drywall nails, anybody building a house? http://www.rxtx.com/4wdtrips/forum/emoticons/lol.gif

LOL!! Man, your stove musta been rocking from side to side with that many nails under it! http://www.rxtx.com/4wdtrips/forum/emoticons/rofl.gif
so, what look are you going for in the kitchen? Are you doing the floor too? I'll have to break out some pics of our kitchen remodels - fun stuff http://www.rxtx.com/4wdtrips/forum/emoticons/scool.gif
Where's Wolf and Kyle - I know they didn't go with those "lucky people" although I think Kyle went on a little trip over the weekend...

I found those in the air intake box under the furnace.

[quote]I guess you could call the look Scandinavian, light birch doors, plain surface, i.e. no profiles.
[quote]Yes, we did the floor in the kitchen and family room, 350sqft of tile. It's starting to look nice with the floor and cabinets in. The last big items missingare thecountertop and backsplash. Countertop will be black granite tile, backsplash will probably be slate.
[quote]Anyway, as the last item of the day I scanned some slides from the Baja trip, check that thread.

Where are the pictures of the work?
We need to see it after all the time and energy you are spending on it.

Don't worry Uwe - our trip was lacking Two Plates and Salsita! We discovered many places to return and explore. I'm sure Bob will post a trip diary soon.
